My employer decided to get into super accurate tracking with their own satellite, I volunteered to run the software deploy. Once it was in orbit and passed the horizon we realized we needed relays for the signal without a line of sight. I realized I was in way over my head when I sat down and tried to figure out the trig to solve if we could bounce the signal or how many more relay satellites we’d need to launch. I was still working out a basic law of sines problem when I woke up.
The law of sines, of course, being the law of cosines with two fewer characters so it would fit in the 500 limit
